When it comes to insect trapping you have several choices. Yellow sticky insect traps come in all shapes, colors, sizes and with different adhesives. One single trap design may fill a need that another may not. Such as a large exposed sticky area may catch a lot of harmful insects, but birds spiders or mice may pick those insects off so a researcher would not get a clear picture of what insects are present in the field.

Some Sticky cards are in-expense so for your money you can cover a lot of sites in your crops, but in a rather short time these traps need to be replaced with new ones.

LMDCO uses an adhesive designed by Seabright Labs just for our own traps. The tack value is so high, it makes it near impossible to use on paper cards. But to our traps this means an adhesive with the power to catch the difficult to trap insects such as the fruit fly or larger blue green glassy winged Sharpshooter.

LMDCO uses a poly based trapping material in roll form. This helps keep the price per square inch of trapping surface comparable to paper traps.

LMDCO'S traps are designed to be used early with your crops. Many of the crop eating bud sucking insects do most of their damage before you know they are even present. Catching the first adult insects could save you from dealing with their thousands of offsprings. Adult insects lay their eggs on the underside and steams of your plants, as the eggs hatch the nymphs feed and exchange harmful fluids with your plant.
